About the author:

I am a roaming journalist and researcher (originally from the UK) who has written about conflict, international relations and humanitarian/legal issues in the Middle East and North Africa. My expertise also encompasses Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) affairs, European foreign policy, and the wider geopolitical and economic landscapes of the Middle East and Indo-Pacific regions.

I have worked for and/or written for Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, The New Arab, Middle East Eye, Gulf International Forum, Al Monitor, World Politics Review, Lobelog, TRT World, Anadolu Agency, Informed Comment and many others. I have also worked at Al Sharq Forum in Istanbul as a research intern, and now contribute research pieces to them. My analysis and commentary have also been featured on prominent television networks such as Al Jazeera, BBC, TRT World, France 24, and Al Araby TV.

Also I have studied History & Politics at the University of Exeter (UK)
